Mary Poppins sequel confirmed for Christmas 2018
In Depression-era London, a now-grown Jane and Michael Banks, along with Michael’s three children, are visited by the enigmatic Mary Poppins following a personal loss. Through her unique magical skills, and with the aid of her friend Jack, she helps the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
For Christmas 2018, British actress Emily Blunt will be the perfect nanny, Mary Poppins, and beside her will be Lin-Manuel Miranda (OST composer in Star Wars Episode VII) playing Jack. Miranda’s character won’t be exactly the one played by Dick Van Dyke in the original film (1964).
What can we expect from this movie? Well, we have a two-year wait and there aren’t many details yet, but we know Emily Blunt is in it and that’s good news.
